TomYam：又是记者乱乱写？

今天的报章头条新闻，是有关首相对反对党把最高元首“拉下水”的谈话。对不起，我订阅的是大马第一大报《星洲日报》，他们用“扯入政治”来形容“拉下水”这种情况。

然而，有点知识和逻辑思考能力的读者都晓得，最高元首本身所处的领域根本就是“政治”领域，难道他是体育或娱乐界人士不成？那么，既然最高元首已身处政治界，就没有所谓的“扯入政治”这回事了。

以下是我国各语文报章对首相此谈话的新闻片段：

Berita Harian：Diminta mengulas sama ada tindakan parti pembangkang mencemar kedaulatan institusi beraja dengan mengheretnya ke kancah politik, Abdullah berkata: "Tentu sekali... apabila bertindak begitu, mereka cuba mengheret atau memerangkap Yang di-Pertuan Agong dengan politik mereka".

Utusan Malaysia："Tentu sekalilah. Apabila mereka bertindak begitu, mereka cuba mengheret raja dan Yang di-Pertuan Agong atau memerangkap (Yang di-Pertuan) Agong dalam politik mereka."

The Star："I believe the King is more mature. The royalty understands and will not be trapped by their (the opposition's) politics," he said after opening the Parti Bersatu Sabah 22nd congress yesterday.

NST："Obviously, the action was tantamount to dragging the institution of the monarchy, and the king, into politics," Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said at a press conference after he opened the Parti Bersatu Sabah 22nd annual congress here.

Sin Chew：首相拿督斯里阿都拉今日（周日，11月11日）形容，反对党针对全国大选程序问题向国家元首提呈备忘录的做法，是企图把统治者扯入政治。

Nanyang：“他们（干净及公正选举联盟）企图把皇室和国家元首拖入政治，我相信国家元首是成熟的，不会陷入反对党的政治伎俩。”

China Press：询及反对党是否有意图把王室卷入政治旋涡，阿都拉说，“这是肯定的，当他们这么做时，他们企图把马来统治者或国家元首，推向他们设下的政治陷阱。”

读过这些新闻内容，我们才会发现到，原来《星洲日报》把首相谈话中所说的“他们反对党的政治”简化成“政治”，其结果肯定会误导所有读者。

这种情况也出现在《南洋商报》和《新海峡时报》身上。《星报》的新闻记者最为小心，还特别括弧注明“他们”是指“反对党”。

《中国报》在处理这个新闻时，则特别加油加酱加辣加重味道，把“陷阱”两字也搬上台，不愧是《中国报》作风。
