2. For your information, the Commission has received a complaint that the abovementioned entry in your blog contains information that the complainant found to be offensive.

3. For your information, the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (the Commission) is the regulator for the communications and multimedia industry in Malaysia and we are responsible for the administration of the Communication and Multimedia Act 1998 (CMA 98).

4. Additionally, Section 211 of the CMA 1998 (Act 588) stipulates the provision of indecent, obscene, false, menacing or offensive content with the intention to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any person is deemed wrongful. Upon conviction, the content provider shall be liable to a fine not exceeding fifty thousand ringgit or imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or both, and shall also be liable to a further fine of one thousand ringgit for every day or part of a day during which the offence is continued after conviction.

5. Hence, you are required to be mindful of the abovementioned provision in ensuring that the content of your blog does not contravene the required legal stipulation.
